Following the successful delivery of the demolition phase of the project, EDR were appointed to carry out an extensive package to prepare the site for construction of several hundred new homes.
The project comprised of removal of all sub-structures on site, proof digging, ground remediation, a 100,000m3 cut/fill exercise with a comprehensive compaction specification. The site was then prepared for the client’s new scheme which included cutting in the new roads and installing piling mats to the new plots.
The initial phases have been handed over and the remaining works are ongoing.
