Following a competitive tendering process, focusing on technical delivery, EDR were appointed to carry out the demolition of the former costume workshop at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford upon Avon.

The demolition works involved the intricate removal of several structures within a confined courtyard area. This included separation from the adjacent Grade II listed structure.
The works included asbestos removal, soft strip of retained structures, careful separation from adjacent structures and the demolition of multiple buildings.

Despite the discovery of additional asbestos containing materials, the works were completed to the original deadline. Our client heaped praise on the site team who delivered the project.
